Bell Laboratories produces the highest quality rodenticides and rodent control products available to the pest control and agricultural industries on six continents. Due to their growth, they wanted to combine new R & D labs with a new world headquarters on the same site as their manufacturing facility. They selected Potter Lawson to plan their state of the art facility that will present an exciting new corporate image. It will help with employee recruitment and retention, as well as serve as a showcase for potential clients who will tour the facility from around the world.
The building has a unique timber frame design, that provides a visual connection to the beautiful forest in the southwest corner of the site.
Expansive windows mean the space is flooded with natural daylight, and there are abundant views to the natural landscape. The mechanical systems are highly energy efficient. The project features an executive conference room, fitness center, chemistry and biology labs, and training facilities for their staff.
The facility includes approximately 44,000 SF of office space for Bell’s 100 employees, an 1,800 SF Animal Lab, and nearly 12,000 SF of common area. Additionally, Potter Lawson has planned for future expansion.
