Following the completion of their Madison office, Navitus again hired Potter Lawson to design a new 60,000 square foot facility to house the office and call center in the Appleton area. A three story building, the first floor is devoted primarily to IT data services and building infrastructure. The second floor houses the call center and member services with a large training room and conference rooms. The third floor holds the majority of the open office functions.

The overriding intent of the design was to express the client’s mission of transparency as a business model. As such, the exterior has large expanses of glazing, with the interior having taller ceilings and large glass sidelites at the office and conference rooms. Open office areas are grouped together to reinforce the open feeling of the transparent nature of the building design. The project was designed to be doubled in size to accommodate future growth.
