Potter Lawson recently completed the design of a new 10,000 square foot Employee Health Clinic located at 700 University Bay Drive. The main goal was to maximize flexibility and efficiency within the design. This was achieved by creating an integrated off-stage care team space. Flexible nurse workspace and administration stations are in an open plan that keeps the nursing staff close to the exam rooms, while eliminating staff work-space within the patient corridors. The plan also includes a work area for the wellness team. Conferencing and break rooms are shared between the two departments to promote collaboration between the different groups, and have expansive views to the outside.
